Privacy and Data Protection Statement
We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our student members. This statement outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you visit our website.

Website Hosting and Data Storage
Our website is built and hosted using wix.com, a cloud-based web development platform. Wix stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall and complies with international data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data may be stored on Wix’s servers located in the United States, Europe, or Israel, depending on operational and legal requirements. Wix uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/SSL) to protect transmitted data. For more information about Wix's data protection practices, you can visit:

Data We Collect
We have ensured that the only data we collect is absolutely necessary for membership.
For this reason, we only ask users for:
-
An email address
-
Their full name, else an alias or "username" is accepted

Any other data (e.g. school location, subject choices) is not required for membership and would only be shared between students via the chat function.
We do not collect location data and independent sharing of location will be deleted and can result in an invalidated membership (see membership rules here).

Additionally, students are asked to create a passcode.
Their passcode is not stored in the site database and is only known by the member themselves. The moderators of this site cannot access passcode data of any kind.

How Your Data is Used
Your data is only used for membership purposes.
For example, an Email is required for students to be able to login to their account.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies and Analytics
This website uses cookies to ensure proper functioning and to collect anonymous data for analytics. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. You can control or disable cookies via your browser settings.
We only use cookies to track website performance and user interactions.
These are anonymised and do not identify individual users.

Safeguarding
This site has an aggressive censorship function that can identify inappropriate content.

There is a report function found on the profile of another member.
